Russia′s Tourist visa requirements:

Please make sure there is a 7 business days period between the date of application and the supposed date of entry to Russia.

1.  A Tourist Voucher/Confirmation letter from Russia. If you do not have the Voucher/Confirmation letter, we will arrange it for you. Please fill out the Voucher/Confirmation Letter Request Form.

2.  Completed and signed VLSCanada Order Form.

3.  Completed and signed Registration of Canadians Abroad Form. (Optional)

4. Completed Russian Visa Application Form. This form should be completed online here: https://visa.kdmid.ru. Please have the Voucher/Confirmation letter handy as you will need to include details from Voucher/Confirmation letter in the Visa Application Form. Once the Russian Visa Application Form has been completed, please email the PDF copy to info@vlscanada.ca for verification and corrections and also the Application ID and a Password. The Russian Visa authorities will refuse to accept the visa application with mistakes.

5.  Valid passport. The passport should expire after at least 6 months of your exit date from Russia.

6. Two recent (not older than 3 months) color pictures. The size of the pictures MUST BE 45mm x 35mm.

7. A cover letter from each applicant explaining the purpose of travelling, period of travelling and cities to be visited.

8. An itinerary including the travel/flight/river cruise details with names and dates.

9. A medical insurance coverage of minimum of 30,000 EUR for all European citizens.

10. Non-Canadian and Non-US applicants must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit)

11. Former USSR or Russian Federation citizens emigrated from the USSR or from Russia must provide the document confirming that they are no longer the citizens of the Russian Federation.

12. A bank statement showing enough funds to visit Russia if you are currently unemployed.

Please note that If necessary, the visa officer may require providing other documents or require an interview with the applicant. Also, it is solely at visa officer’s discretion to grant you visa and (s)he may refuse the issuance of visa without any explanation.

Russia′s Business visa requirements:

1.  An original official business invitation arranged by your host in Russia and issued by the Federal Migration Service. If you do not have the Business Invitation from Russia we can arrange it for you. Please fill out the Business Invitation Request Form and email it first before mailing the Russian visa application documents.

2.  Completed and signed VLSCanada Order Form.

3.  Completed and signed Registration of Canadians Abroad Form. (Optional)

4. Completed Russian Visa Application Form. This form should be completed online here: https://visa.kdmid.ru. Please have the Voucher/Confirmation letter handy as you will need to include details from Voucher/Confirmation letter in the Visa Application Form. 11. Non-Canadian and Non-US applicants must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit)

7. A covering letter from your company explaining what it does in Canada and what is a purpose of travelling, period of travelling and company to be visited.

8. If you answered ‘NO’ for questions about previous employment and educational institutions in the online application form, a covering letter confirming the same.

9. An itinerary including the travel/flight details with names and dates.

10. Original HIV/AIDS test results not older than 90 days by the time of application.

11. A medical insurance coverage of minimum of 30,000 EUR for all European citizens.

12. Non-Canadian and Non-US applicants must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit)

13. Former USSR or Russian Federation citizens emigrated from the USSR or from Russia must provide the document confirming that they are no longer the citizens of the Russian Federation.
